This article contains lore based on real-life sources from Norse and Celtic Mythology as introduced in Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice.
“ | If you are a lie... And there is no darkness... Then you never took him from me, did you? And I can’t save Dillion... Is that what you want me to believe?! After all you have done to me?! To him?! You’re not a lie. But you are a liar! You’ve crawled into me, to confuse and deceive me. But I know he’s here. I know you have him. I will give you my life. That’s what you want isn’t it? My soul. Take it! I’ll be your... I’ll be your slave warrior. I’ll fight with you at Ragnarök... If you release him. But if you won’t... Then you will have to kill me! Because I have nothing left. No fear... No hate... No quest... Nothing. And you will have no power over me...

Hela's Inner Sanctuary is the location of the final battle in Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice.
Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice[]
After rebuilding the great fragmented bridge, Senua reaches a gate that gives access to the interior of Hela's Sanctuary . She opens the gate and walks down a beautiful long corridor. Halfway through this corridor, Senua comes across a magical mirror, and a large portal at the end of the corridor. When approaching the first portal, Senua sees another version of herself (which most likely represents the voices using her corporeal form), who tries to convince her to give up and not move forward. But she was already determined and entered the first portal, causing this other version to disappear into ashes.
Upon approaching the second portal, if the player has collected all the Stones of Wisdom, a short cutscene of Druth speaking to Senua about her role in the Norse conquest will be revealed, before she goes through the portal to face Hela. If the player has not collected all the Wisdom Stones, Senua will simply enter through the portal.
Upon entering the large portal, we see a flashback of Senua witnessing her mother, Galena, being burned alive for defying the gods.
After reliving a painful memory, Senua remembers that it was her father, Zynbel, who was responsible for Galena's death.
